Seven steps to nurse your glasses!
Almost all my friends with glasses, more or less, have this kind of confusion: it is often too late to maintenance their glasses. They do not pay much attention to it, not alone to take care of them. If you want to keep your glasses more endurable, then the following suggestions may help you out.
Step one: screw them. Don’t think me wrong. I mean it! If screws loosen, do go to glasses store to make them tight again or do it yourself, otherwise, glasses are easy to drop to the ground and get scratched.
Step two: keep them clean. Sweat or oil on the skin surface can erode the metal part of the glasses. Daily clean can also extend their life.
Step three: put them away correctly. The majority of glasses are supposed to be folded from the ends of the legs. If they are forced to be folded from one side, it may cause imbalance of the frame and make you uncomfortable when wearing them.
Step four: wear them right. You should wear or take them off with your two hands instead of one every time. If the frame has already been tortured, then go to the glasses store to make them right.
Step five: keep off the sunlight. The long-term exposure to the sun may fade the color of the eyeglasses frames.
Step six: wipe them in a good way. Do this with specialized cloth. Don’t collide with hard things in order to minimize the damage it may cause.
Step seven: put where it belongs. Don’t put them upside down. When you don’t use them, put them in the glasses box and with a cloth wrapping as much as possible.
Now, as summer will come on, and the weather in which we can fry eggs on the side of the street makes us sweat like floods, we may all have lots of inconvenient problems about glasses. But, anyway, we should keep an eye on them. They are our second pair of eyes after all. These tips above, I think, are easy to follow and conduct. I hope it means something to you.
